Log Cabin Wall Quilts
Log Cabin Wall quilts are throw size, 72 x 90". The camo or scenic pattern on the outside is the backing fabric. I had been working on a design for men (or women) featuring camouflage. It hit me when I saw wall and pillow panels with coordinating prints. They have such photographic quality, they could be varnished, framed and hung on a wall. I had a light bulb moment. Why not make a quilt that looks like the decorated wall of a log cabin? It required false trapunto, inkjet printing, thread painting and acrylic painting. I've certainly never seen anything like it. I'm calling it a Log Cabin Wall quilt. When I made one, I left out the wall sconces. Cost is $600.00.
